WaterHealth India (WHIN), a wholly owned subsidiary of WaterHealth International, came into existence in 2006. In the 9 years of its operations WHIN has successfully installed and is operating over 450 decentralized Community Water System (CWS’) called WaterHealth Centres (WHCs) across 36 districts of India covering Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. WHIN has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delhi Jal Board and Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to serve the urban underserved across those metro cities.
WHIN is also looking forward to partner with various Urban Local Bodies/municipalities of Karnataka, Gujarat and Telangana. With the mission to serve 100 million consumers by 2020, WaterHealth is set to expand its footprints in Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra to scale-up to 300-400 WHCs.
