Such point-of-entry (POE) systems are especially suitable for homes or institutions not connected to the municipal water system.

The ERU is a mobile, self-contained, self-powered system can be deployed anywhere in the world to provide safe, clean drinking water in case of natural disasters or other emergency situations. The product is also based on the company's UV Waterworks platform and its commercial deployment should represent unprecedented savings of time and money for emergency and disaster relief agencies around the world.
