Jaldhaara Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with WaterHealth India to promote the benefits of clean and safe drinking water by facilitating installation of water purification plants and empowering women of the target communities to operate these purification plants.

WaterHealth India, a wholly owned subsidiary of US based WaterHealth International and a pioneer in the Community Water Systems industry has the expertise in installation, operation and maintenance of water purification plants in rural areas which do not have access to safe drinking water by installing decentralized community water systems known as WaterHealth Centers.

Jaldhaara Foundation, a section 25 company (non-profit organization, section 8 company of India Companies Act, 2013) deliver integrated community (and school) based WASH solutions sustainably has identified WaterHealth as its technical partner for installation, operation and maintence of water purification plant in the locations identified by Jaldhaara.

Scope of Services:

  • WHIN installs the water purification plant within 60 days upon the execution of the agreement. Jaldhaara shall arrange an amount equivalent to the invoice value as per the purchase order from Jaldhaara to WHIN through its donor or internal accrual for installation, operation and maintence of the water purification plant.
  • WHIN has to complete the installation of water purification plant within the stipulated time as mentioned above.
  • WHIN assists Jaldhaara in conducting the social awareness programs and increasing the adoption of clean water by the communities in the agreed areas of operations
