F. Henry Habicht II

F. Henry “Hank” Habicht is Managing Partner of SAIL Venture Partners, a leading venture capital fund investing in clean energy, water and related technologies. He is also Vice Chairman of the Global Environmental & Technology Foundation, which fosters innovation in environmental management and applications of clean technology. Mr. Habicht previously served as Senior Vice President, Safety-Kleen Corporation, a provider of industrial and recycling services, Chief Operating Officer of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Vice President and Counsel with William D. Ruckelshaus Associates. He was Assistant Attorney General of the U.S., directing the Land and Natural Resources Division. He is a member of numerous boards and advisory councils, including the Secretary of Energy Advisory Board, the Dow Chemical Corporate Environmental Advisory Council, the Princeton Environmental Institute and the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable Advisory Boards. He holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia and an A.B. from Princeton University.

Dennis Merens

Mr. Merens has over 30 years of executive experience in business development and marketing, both in domestic and international markets, across the diagnostic, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. He has held the position of Director of Corporate Venture Capital for new businesses for the Dow Chemical Company since 1994, and is on a number of advisory boards, including that of the New Venture Capital Association.

Richard C. Nell

Richard C. Nell has more than 20 years of experience in management and strategic planning at Johnson and Johnson Medical, Inc. At J & J Medical, Mr. Nell was Vice President of Business Development and Vice President of International Marketing, where he directed development of strategic plans for the company’s worldwide business. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors before retiring in 1994. He had previously held senior-level positions in both sales and marketing for the company. Mr. Nell has been a strategic planning and marketing consultant for WaterHealth since 2002, and a member of WaterHealth’s board of directors since 2003.

Mr. Nell received his BA in biology/pre-med at Rutgers University, and has studied finance, marketing, and economics at Columbia University and the London Business School, London, England.

Sanjay Bhatnagar

A global innovator and business leader, Sanjay Bhatnagar leads new generation green enterprise at WaterHealth International. Mr. Bhatnagar is also the founder of the THOT Capital Group, a private equity firm based in New York. Prior to setting up the THOT Capital Group in January 2001, Sanjay was the CEO of Enron Broadband Services for Middle East and Asia based in Singapore. He was also Chairman and CEO, Enron South Asia. Earlier, he worked for Schlumberger as an engineer and manager in several countries worldwide.

Sanjay received an MBA with Honors, from Harvard University, a Master's degree in Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with distinction from the Indian Institute of Technology.

He has also held other pivotal positions such as Director Emeritus, US India Business Council (USIBC), US Chamber of Commerce, Washington DC, Director, Punj Lloyd Construction Company, India, Director, AIESEC International, President, American Chamber of Commerce in India (1999-2001), Member YPO/WPO, Chairman, Infrastructure Committee, Confederation of Indian Industry (2000), Member, National Committee on E-Commerce, Confederation of Indian Industry (2000) and Member of ISOC (Internet Society International) Geneva.

Dr. Tralance Addy

A recognized entrepreneurial leader and inventor with over 25 years of corporate management experience, Dr. Addy's career has been distinguished by leadership of the creation and commercial development of break-through technologies and ventures.  Prior to joining WaterHealth he was an International Vice President of health-care leader Johnson & Johnson (J&J).  During his over 20-year tenure at J&J, he held a number of senior executive positions including Director of Technology Ventures for a subsidiary, Vice President of R&D, and Worldwide President of Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP), a J&J subsidiary that he founded within the corporation.  He led the growth of that company to be a worldwide market- segment leader, establishing divisions of the company and marketing channels in over 40 countries.  He was a member of the Global Management Committee of Johnson & Johnson Medical, Inc.  He is a recipient of several corporate awards for innovation and entrepreneurship.  He is the holder of 13 U.S. and international patents.

Tralance Addy earned BA and BS degrees in chemistry and mechanical engineering simultaneously from Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania in 1969, and subsequently earned MS and PhD degrees in engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  He also is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program.  He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering and, among a number of professional leadership positions, is a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Sustainable Enterprise of the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School. He also serves as a member of the Board of Managers of Swarthmore College.
